ADHD Coach, Kimber Nelson

Kimber Nelson Hi! And welcome to the ADHD Partners website.  I am glad you are here. Let me tell you a little about my story. Nearly ten years ago, I was in the midst of a long term relationship with the love of my life.

Despite my best efforts and actively working on my own baggage that I brought into the relationship, during those early years, we consistently were blindsided by misunderstandings and miscommunications….

….. our relationship was in chaos.

A few years later, I discovered ADHD Coaching, began applying the different perspective I learned and saw what a positive difference it made in how we communicated and the overall well-being of our relationship. I knew I wanted to use this approach to help other non-ADHD partners as well as their loved ones, students and adults with ADHD overcome their challenges, feel more confident in their abilities, and experience success.

Now, years later, after working with hundreds of people with ADHD and partners who are impacted by ADHD, seeing the same positive changes in their lives, I know this is my life purpose.

I simply love what I do!

I know many individuals go through what I went through, I talk with them every day, and they are struggling without the understanding of what ADHD is all about and how to help themselves or their loved ones.

The good news is that it doesn’t have to be that way.

Your lives can change, just as it did for us.

As a coach and coach trainer on the faculty of JST Coaching & Training with seven years coaching on ADHD, I can help you unravel your challenges.  Understand this missing piece so your life can be entirely different. I specialize in working with frustrated clients whose partner has been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD who want to finally understand how ADHD shows up in their relationship and use effective strategies to take back control of their lives.

I also work directly with students diagnosed with ADHD who are struggling with the increasing challenges of organization, schoolwork and social lives; young adults who are taking their first steps towards independence and/or heading off to college; and adults of all ages who finally want to understand their ADHD/ADD and live the life they want!

I earned my coaching credential from iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching), an International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited training program that produces many of the world’s finest coaches. I also trained with the leader in the advanced field of ADHD and Student coaching, Jodi Sleeper-Triplett at JST Coaching & Training and am a proud member of Jodi’s training faculty.

My model on coaching the Non-ADHD Partner was recently published in the ADHD Report. As an inspirational speaker, coach, ADHD student coach trainer and educator about ADHD I hope to always be increasing the awareness of ADHD in general and its impact on relationships specifically worldwide.

I was raised and educated in the West and I am learning to appreciate the warm weather year round, having recently moved to the Las Vegas area after years living in Utah. I would love to virtually meet you! Schedule your complimentary Goal Exploration Session.
